Netherlands
The Netherlands can be found in the middle Europe. It's bordered by the North sea, Belgium and Germany. Basically down to London and turn
right over the North Sea.
The Netherlands is often referred to as Holland - this is however incorrect.
Holland is the northern region of the Netherlands - it would be like referring
to Strathclyde instead of Scotland.
The native language is Dutch, with English, German and French being widely
spoken. Don't be surprised if a local speaks English with an American
accent!
The currency used in the Netherlands is the Euro (currency code - EUR) - £7.50

The main airport is
Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is about 10 miles
from Amsterdam.
Regular trains run between the airport and the capital at
about £3 each way.
We've played the Netherlands 14 times - won 4, drawn 4, lost 6. We last
played the Netherlands in the Euro 2004 play offs where we won 1-0 at home, then
suffered a 6-0 defeat in the Netherlands.
The Netherland home games are normally played at the
Amsterdam Arena, which has a
capacity of 51,000. There're rumours the game may be played elsewhere such
as the
Feijenoord Stadium in Rotterdam (capacity 51,000) or the
Philips Stadium in Eindhoven (Capacity 35,000).
